2024 Ski and Ride Season has arrived!
Please read this in full. The link to sign up to ski or ride each Monday is at the bottom of the page.
2024 MONDAY DATES: 1/08/24, 1/22/24, 1/29/24, 2/05/24, 2/12/24, 2/26/24
Check-in will begin at 9 AM each Monday at a table in the Powderhorn Lobby. Parents/guardians are asked to assist their student/s through the rental shop, and this is fully expected of every parent/guardian who purchases a chaperone ticket. Students should be gathered outside between 10 and 10:15 AM; lessons begin at 10:30 AM.
The Powderhorn Ski and Ride program is for students 8 to 18 years of age. Any student who is new to skiing or snowboarding (riding) must take a full day lesson on their first date of participation. New students may join our group on any of our scheduled Mondays, and, if desired, students may choose skiing one day, and snowboarding on another. All students MUST take a lesson without any exceptions. Powderhorn’s instructors take roll-call and check in with our group coordinators if any students on their class list are missing.
Students with disabilities are asked to participate with a reservation through CDA (Colorado Discover Ability); please call (970) 257-1222.
Chaperone tickets and rentals are only available to parents/guardians of participating students, not for siblings, friends, or other family members.

RFID LIFT TICKET CARDS
Powderhorn is issuing lift tickets in the form of RFID cards. RFID lift cards will be issued at check-in each morning of Ski & Ride Co-op, and it will be the responsibility of all participants to return their cards at the end of the day. Un-returned cards will be considered lost.
Lost cards are $20 to replace. A one-time $20 deposit for participants will be collected at check-in prior to participation. Venmo will be available at check-in as an immediate cash withdrawal, or Refunds will be issued by the middle of March. Parents may also write a check (separate from their ski/ride payment) and provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Deposit checks will be held by a group coordinator and mailed back by the middle of March.
*STUDENTS AND CHAPERONES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT THE $20 DEPOSIT FOR RFID TAGS.*

RESERVATIONS, WAIVERS AND PAYMENT
Reservations will be the responsibility of the parent to complete online in advance. Reservations will close each Friday night prior to the Monday ski day. Please use the Google Docs links provided below. Only register your student for the coming week between Tuesday morning and Friday night. Do not register for multiple weeks as your child’s lesson level may change from week to week. Liability waivers must be completed for lessons and rentals, are required at the first date of participation, and are good for the season. Waivers will be available at the check-in table.
Parents will pay upon check-in to the group coordinator at our table in the Powderhorn lobby. Monday payment options are cash, check or Venmo. Our group coordinator will make a single payment to Powderhorn. If your child/ren is/are registered and cannot make it, please let the group coordinator know as soon as possible.
